Galli Rossi began in a Manhattan restaurant kitchen, where siblings Cosimo and Nicolina Bruno—children of Italian immigrants—combined their passions with their family's rich culinary heritage. Inspired by their father’s cooking and traditional Italian flavors, they crafted a lager that blends Mediterranean character with American craft brewing.
Launched at their family’s restaurants, Galli Rossi quickly gained a loyal following in New York. But the journey didn’t stop there.
Cosimo eventually moved to Michigan, where he fell in love with the state’s beer culture and tight-knit communities. Bringing the Galli Rossi vision with him, he began brewing in the Midwest—continuing the legacy with the same commitment to quality, flavor, and family tradition.
Today, Galli Rossi is proudly brewed in Michigan: an American Italian lager that celebrates heritage, creativity, and a love for great beer.
